On Tuesday, December 8, 2025, Mr. Scott Shoemake and his wife, Karen Shoemake, visited Cumberland Academy K–5 to present a $500 donation to the school.
The generous gift was made in honor of School Social Worker Mrs. Tara Weymouth. The donation holds special significance, as Mr. Shoemake offered Mrs. Weymouth her very first social work position in the home health field 30 years ago.
We sincerely thank Mr. and Mrs. Shoemake for their contribution and for celebrating Mrs. Weymouth’s three decades of dedicated service to our community.
