Cumberland Academy families, please note our schedule for the upcoming NC Check-Ins for students in grades 3-5. These mandatory assessments will take place at the T.C. Berrien building, located at 800 North St.
Our schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, October 21, 2025 - Reading
Wednesday, October 22, 2025 - Math
Thursday, October 23, 2025 - Science (Grade 5 only) and Makeup testing for grades 3-5
Please adhere to the drop-off schedule that has been shared in Class Dojo. We will communicate the exact pick-up time details for each day through Class Dojo. Students will need to bring their ID badge and fully charged Chromebook with the charger.
Tips for Success
Help your child do their best on the assessment by ensuring they are ready to focus:
Eat a great breakfast! A good meal provides the energy and focus needed for testing.
Get plenty of sleep the night before the test. Rested minds perform better.
Encourage your student to relax and do their best! We are proud of their effort.
